Since childhood, food has been the key to my heart. Growing up with two large families, celebrations were a priority accompanied by various types of delicious, flavorful Caribbean cuisine. My Mother exhibited a passion for cooking. Cooking was effortless and she would provide food for numerous guests; the consistency remained the same. Inheriting her love and passion for cooking was inevitable.
In 2008, I decided to attend Culinary School to not only enhance my passion for cooking, but to become an expert in the industry. I perfected my craft at Le Cordon Bleu Miami. Since then, I've utilized my technical experience to execute a fine dining experience .
Growing up in Jamaica W.I. as the only girl child I was taught so many talents and skills by my father and brothers, cooking and baking was one of my best skills I have learned and inherited. I attended Le Cordon Bleu Miami to learn more about the industry and better my skills. After Graduating I worked and trained at many 5-star hotels in south Florida as an executive chef and a baker. I take pride in the superb quality of the ingredients that I use with a preference for local products. “Great importance is also placed on beautiful, creative presentation employing various foods textures and colors.”
